Subject: THE LOVING GIFT OF FREEDOM

Affirmation for Wednesday December 30th


I seek to give others the gift of freedom... the very gift I so much want for myself. When I give others the freedom to be them, without controlling, coercing or restricting I allow them the freedom to be in my life the way they wish to be.





WHEN we want the best for others, we so often have to release the need to control or to coerce people to fit in with our way of doing things.

The greatest gift we can give the people in our lives is freedom

It is the same gift we also need to give to ourselves.

When we allow ourselves freedom, we also allow others to be free too.

If we cling to people, demand that they accompany us at all times, get fearful if they are out of our sight or become obsessive about them leaving us, we often manifest the very thing that we so much fear.

We have all been there. In our insecurity we have all been in that space of needing, of fearing and of restricting.

Fear of losing the people in our life, particularly those we most treasure or most need, can result in possessiveness, obsession and a yearning for reassurance.

And yet if we loved ourselves enough to accept our own self worth we would also know that we were perfectly desirable and did not have to cling to those whom we felt would complete us or make us whole.

On the contrary, we would accept that there is a treasure house of loving people out there who would reflect back to us the love contained within our own heart.

So possessiveness and jealousy would be obstacles to love.

So the desire to control or cajole or coerce would be alien to living in loving harmony.

So too would fears of losing people  be irrational thinking or thoughts that need to be changed.

And all those thoughts of how we were so lacking until our Prince or Princess Charming came along... how we do not really deserve him or her.. or how someone will come along and whisk our partner away will not be allowed to gain power.

Because the thoughts we give our attention to expand and become reality in our life.

If we tell the universe we are unworthy of the dream lover or we lack what it takes to keep someone, the universe will mirror back to us the reality that we are indeed lacking and not able to keep the relationship.

One of the greatest mistakes we can make is to restrict the freedom of another... whether we pretend it is because we care for them or because we seek to control them so that they do not stray from us or prefer the company of others.

It is so important that we set people in our life free.. because when they feel this freedom they will be more than likely to return to us. They will then want to be around us.

When we cannot set them free, they will feel like the caged bird who is only too anxious to fly off into the sunset when the cage door is opened.

We should want all those in our lives to have an abundance of love from an abundance of people...

We should want all those in our lives to be able to connect freely, share the beauty and truth of who they really are and to be the love they so much want to be in the world.

If we restrict others from shining their light, restrict others from being the love they want to express then we are also restricting ourselves from having truly loving relationships and building barriers and fear monsters that keep us out of love.

We do not own any other person... whether it is our significant other, our children or anyone else in our life.

We need to release the need to control, to organise, to interfere, to meddle, to judge.

We can intervene if someone is in dire straits.

But often it is much better to allow others to live in their own way as long as it does not hurt others and be there for people.. listening, hearing and supporting without forcing our view on them, however good we might feel that view might be.

Let us give the greatest gift of all to all those in our life... freedom. The gift we seek ourselves.

Affirmation for Tuesday December 29th

I seek that place in me where love, peace and joy dwells... I know that the state of my inner world will be reflected back to me in the circumstances of my life. For the outer world is a reflection of the inner world. And when you are in this beautiful place of love in you and I am in that beautiful place of love in me, WE ARE ONE. Namaste.




THERE is a place where there is peace... perfect peace.

There is a place where there is joy... immense joy.

There is a place where there is love... only love.

There is a place where there is heaven... sheer paradise.

It is the place we are all looking for... the final destination for our journey.

So, like Dorothy, we venture along the yellow brick road in search of the magnificence of the magical place called  Oz... where we might believe all of our dreams can be made true, where all our problems can be solved.

We seek out this guru and that... hoping they might reveal to us the truths of what we are searching for.

We look for this perfect environment...so keen to take the right " How To" book from the shelf of the bookstore.

We try to follow the right religion.

We might seek to join the sect with all the answers.

But this place we are searching for is contained within us all the time.... we just tended to look in all the wrong places.

It is when we see the peace contained in our own heart, that we can begin to see a world at peace with itself.

It is then we can be a peace maker.... we can be the peace we wish to see in the world.

It is when we see the joy that is contained within ourselves that we can experience and feel immense joy... the joy of living, the joy of being one with everyone and everything.

It is then we can be a joy bringer.

We can be the joy that we wish to see in the world.

It is when we see the love in our own heart... our own treasure house of beautiful unconditional love... that we can begin to see the love in other people and in the universe of which we are a part.

It is then we can be a lover.

We can be the love we wish to see expressed in the world... through us and through the loving hearts of others.

We can now see other people through the eyes of compassion and the filter of a loving heart.

And when we see the heaven within ourselves... we are all connected to heaven, after all... we can begin to feel we are in paradise and present this vision not only to our own reality but also to allow others to join us in this veritable Garden of Eden.

And you and I, through the connection of our hearts, can see where our journey must end... it will be right back within us but embracing in our heart and mind a new learning and a new understanding.

The understanding is that all the answers are contained within us.

When we knock upon our own inner door, we will have all the questions we yearn to know the answers to simply answered.

As within so without.

The external world will only reflect the inner world.

What we feel and the state of our being will be mirrored back to us in the circumstances of our outer world.

If we feel poor, we will be poor in the experience of our daily life.

If we feel unloved or unlovable then we will feel subjected to loveless experiences.

If we feel in conflict or at war then will be propelled into the violence and turmoil of a hostile world.

If we feel less than worthy or not valued, then we will have people and situations in our life that will make us feel unvalued or worthless.

It is time you and I looked within.... to create the perfect inner world so that our outer world can match it.

There is a place where love dwells in such abundance... that place is within your heart and that place is also in my heart.

And when you and I are both in that place within ourselves... we are One.

Subject: LET US NOT HARBOUR THOUGHTS OF ISOLATION

Affirmation for Monday December 28th


I choose to communicate and relate with others in an enthusiastic way.... I seek to join, to move beyond limitation and not to harbour thoughts that people do not want me or are avoiding my communication.





EACH of us has the ability to choose the quality of how we relate, how we communicate and how we connect.

We are at choice. We can put more energy into how we talk to people, how we relate to people through looking, hearing and touching.

We can enthuse. Those who are enthusiastic about how they communicate are contagious.

They bring back an enthusiastic reaction from others. And people like to have them around.

So many of us complain... complain of poor relationships, not being understood, not being appreciated, not being heard, not being held.

But so often the way we are treated is the way we look upon and treat ourselves.

When we doubt our own loveability we draw an energy of desperation around ourselves... an energy of lack... an energy of undesirability which is the very opposite of our intention.

The more attention we give to isolation, to separation, to disconnection then the more we will bring this into our reality.

The universe will hear our cry... it will hear our cry that we are alone, not worthy of good relationships and return to us that reality.

But when we see ourselves as lovable, look at ourselves in the mirror and like what we see.. then we put out a different message.

Armed with this energy we might change the way we communicate and the way we relate.

We might start talking with people... picking up the phone... sending the text message which will open the door to communication...writing the letter.

And as we pour attention onto others, we then avail ourselves of the opportunity to be noticed, to be wanted, to be invited.

When we wait  for the telephone to ring or someone to knock on the door we will not bring forth our enthusiasm for connection.

And the more enthusiasm we pour into the outside world that we deserve meaningful and loving connection then the more we will attract this same energy into our life.

It can happen in no other way.

The moment we harbour a thought that we are isolated or alone, it is time to change that thought.

It is time to focus instead on our connection to all and to turn our attention to all those in our life who adore our presence in the world.

The sad truth is that too many of us focus on the person who will not return or reciprocate our love or the attention we bestow on them.

The sad truth is that we focus on those who are on a different path, those who are on a different energy level or those who simply are too afraid to embark on a journey with us.

Instead we need to focus on those who will join us on our journey.

We need to focus on all those who would really appreciate our telephone call or our knock on the door.

We need to focus on how desirable and just how socially wonderful we are.

When we feel separated or isolated it is normally a concept that has formed within our head.

It is negative thought and one that can be changed.

When the thought is changed we can now see that we do not have dozens and dozens of people in our life who are clambering to avoid us... that we are not untouchable or undesirable...

It is more often a case that we simply have not joined.

It is more often a case that we have not responded to the invitations of those who want us in their lives because we have been too busy focusing on those who have been apathetic or have not responded to our attention.

It is more often a case that we have held back from communication for fear that we might not be wanted or might be pushing ourselves forward.

Now we have to expand our consciousness to being one among many.. being able to reach out to many... to be able to add new friends to our social circle...

We have to let go of limitation.

We have to stop hanging onto the few or the one who has distanced themselves from us or is too busy for us.

We have to realise that there is a huge number of people just wanting to connect with us... to join our friendship circle... and it might be time to stop putting all our attention the door that has closed and turning our spotlight to shine on the doors that are opening.

People Seem To Flock To Me Why do I feel so empty? This is the question I repeatedly asked myself prior to reading this book. "Living On Love" was sent to me through synchronicities. I'd attended 3 years of counseling and was repeatedly told to love myself - that was my whole problem. I read a mass amount of self help books and applied the techniques to my life, I *wanted* to love myself! I *wanted* this icky feeling inside me to go away! I *wanted* to be happy the majority of time! Yet, I still felt like something was missing. I went through the motions. I took time out for myself. Allowed candlelit baths with soft music... treated myself to my favorite meal out once in a while... exercised... made sure my meals were nutritious... did all the things my counselor told me that people who love themselves do... yet still, this empty feeling that has haunted me all my life still haunted me. I couldn't rid myself of it, although it would go away once in a while - it always came back. I could never understand *how* or *why* it went away... or how/why it always came back. You know the feeling I'm talking about... feeling like your life has no purpose... like something is missing... not really feeling fulfilled or overly happy although you go through the motions of doing things that *should* bring you happiness. And yes, sometimes... just crying yourself to sleep wondering how to get rid of this emptiness, if it will ever go away... or if this really is all there is to life. Many nights I've cried myself to sleep... asking God or the Universe or this Indescribable Force that works in our lives to show me the way... to take away this emptiness. Yet to no avail. I'm 31 years old and finally, after having read this book and applying it to my life, I understand what it means to love myself as well as others. It's not the things you do. It's something much larger than that and a million times simpler. This haunting feeling? It hasn't returned since I've Applied The Content Of This Book to my life. I know it will never return. People in my life have noticed a Significant Change in me. This DOES WORK! I have won hundreds of dollars by sending love. I have stopped physical pains of others by sending them love. Just 2 days ago, my brother was in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. They thought he was having a stroke or heart attack. My mother was frantic, yet I was not, for I knew this would work. I concentrated and sent him love. He left the hospital alive and well with absolutely no problems. My 9 year old daughter had pains in her chest 2 weeks ago. I placed my hand on her chest and sent her love. Her pain immediately went away. She said "Thanks mom"... as if she knew I had done something to make it stop.. although I don't take credit for it - I Merely Utilized What Is Available To All Of Us, including her, if she knew how to use it. Last week at work, my shoulders had been burning all day - it didn't occur to me until lunch time to send my shoulders love. As soon as I did, the pain stopped, the burn went away!! The only thing that has *ever* taken away that kind of burn has been a full body massage and even then, the burn always comes back in a couple of hours. The burn in my shoulders went completely away and didn't come back for 2 days, after I had encountered a new trigger of stress - guess what I did to make it go away again? You bet your bottom dollar, I sent my shoulders love. I'm telling you, THIS WORKS!! I have a friend in Hawaii who was having a horrible day at work. I sent him love, I sent his co-workers love, and I filled their office with love. By the end of the day, he was in good spirits and the problems in his working environment had subsided! When I see someone in a bad mood or emotionally upset, I send them love and I Notice A Change in them! I don't even tell them what I have done, I just do it for the love of humanity. And you can test this! Send love to your office before you get there one a particular day and pay attention to the atmosphere. Then don't send it on another. YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE!! Send love to the people you care about and Notice Their Reaction to you. Send love to people you don't know but sense are having difficulties and some you will be around enough to see the effects... others.. you just move forward knowing that things are working out better for them because you've seen it work in your life and the lives of others around you that you've shared this with. Furthermore? An unexpected "result" of applying these techniques to my life? Is that People Seem To Flock To Me Now. My circle of friendships is growing - not because I seek out others, but because they are Seeking Me Out. And the quality of people seeking me out are healthy, happy, joyful people! It's as if they sense this energy field surrounding me and want to be a part of that. And I don't fear that energy source being drained because I know it is limitless. This book has several grammatical and spelling errors. It seems "low budget". Who cares? Perfection is an imperfection. It's not the spelling and grammar that matter. It's The Content. This book was written with divine guidance. There is no doubt in my mind. This book Literally Has Changed My Life. I'm not afraid anymore. It's an internal knowledge... it's that "Knowing".
